Michelle Page, CEO | Founder | Principal Consultant

Michelle is a Changemaker — she is skilled in leading teams through critical periods of growth and change with an empathetic, nimble, and pragmatic approach that is centered around the unique needs of each organization.

Michelle is a strategic, executive leader with comprehensive operations, financial management, and fundraising expertise and is experienced in developing successful organizations and dynamic teams in rapid growth environments. Her background across a wide range of purpose driven organizations runs deep, spanning over 25 years as she has worked to develop sustainable opportunities and enhance the impact of organizations pursuing scalable global change. Michelle is a mentor and trusted advisor, a creative problem solver and strategist, and a planner with a keen eye for details.

Organizations select Michelle to lead the development of efficient and scalable tech-forward operational back-end functions. She has supported start-ups, turnarounds, leadership transitions, and growth cycles and mentored dozens of new leaders.

Most recently, Michelle contracted with the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) to lead them through the development of a long-term strategic plan, covered three leadership team parental leaves, and hired a permanent CFOO for the organization.

Michelle previously co-led the Unreasonable Group through a robust growth and maturation cycle from start-up to global company as their first Chief Operating Officer, doubling the size of the team during COVID while optimizing operations to support a remote-first company culture and streamlining the partnership development and management functions.

Before this, Michelle completed a turnaround engagement as the Chief Operating Officer for CSTA, successfully partnering with a new Executive Director and the Board of Directors to rebuild the organization from the ground up. Over 15 months, they recruited and established a dynamic new team, secured substantial long-term funding commitments, developed and launched new programs, and established an efficient and sustainable organizational structure.

Prior to this engagement, Michelle was the Chief Financial Officer for Code.org for five years. As a founding Executive Team member, she was responsible for establishing and implementing a strong organizational structure to support explosive growth in staff and programs. Michelle led a large high performing team responsible for financial management, fundraising, people operations, legal, compliance, risk management, major events, and general administration.

Previous relevant non-profit experience includes a lead role as the Executive Director of Technically Learning (which then merged with Code.org) and nine years as a consultant providing targeted fundraising planning and implementation services, including business development, partnership and program management, and major events with a variety of Seattle-based non-profit organizations.

As a lifelong community volunteer, Michelle has spent decades working in classrooms, leading scouting troops, managing events and programs, raising money for programs and equipment, and serving on PTAs, committees, and boards to support quality opportunities for youth, families, and communities. She knows what makes groups successful and how to maximize efficiency while building team engagement, from volunteer to executive-level roles.

Michelle is a first-generation college graduate, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Management with Honors from the University of Phoenix and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business. She’s also found an outlet for her love of details as an accomplished amateur genealogist who loves solving a good family mystery.
